Simon and Lorna arrived in Auckland on Wednesday week - we met them at the airport and smuggled them home before they could get away to Wellington. Suffice to say it was just like old times and much fun was had during the week they stayed with us. They are now in wellington for a few months until we can convince them to move to sunny Auckland. Here are some piccies of the reunion:
First day

Lunch in St Heliers by the beach

Steve and Simon watching Andy McKay at Cornwall park Cricket Club

Catching up over a glass of white just after watching the All Blacks lose to France

Weather has been a bit patchy of late - with some really bright days and some really wet days - spring in Auckland! We are planning holidays - xmas, new year and November trips when my mum visits...
Its been a funny week - normal life suspended while SI and Lorns here - but back to reality now - working and planning for xmas. Trying to avoid the numerous tv reports on why the ABs lost and remembering that its just a game;)
We will be watching England tomorrow morning - its on at 8am sun morning (v cruel) but it has to be done.
Work is really busy for both of us at the moment - Steve has exams and project deadlines and i have abut six projects on the go instead of the usual three - so it will be nice to have a relax when my mum comes..
Hope you are all well...
back soon
