sorry its been so long since out last post. it feels a bit like we have been in hibernation during the winter and now that spring is finally here we are feeling a bit more like we are on holiday again!
we had a trip to the beach last weekend to celebrate spring's arrival - this is Whatipu (pronounced fatipoo):

what else have we been up - well we went to the theatre to see the RSC and Sir Ian Mckellan in a chekov play- the seagull....it was very good - very long but very good!
we have been using our entertainment guide, which is a book full of money off vouchers of attractions and restaurants - to try and investigate new places..we always end up spending loads of money so the money off bit doesn't really work for us ( i guess thats what they plan on when they advertise in it)but it has made us try new places instead of the usual haunts.
work is going well for both of use - I'll let Steve tell you about his job and sporting triumphs as he is on holiday for two weeks now, so will have time to write.
i have been busy at work as i am trying to get things organized so that i can relax and enjoy my mums visit in November - we have finally convinced her to come to enzed! so am really excited about that...steves parents come out in January so we have lots of plans for the visitors....
anyhoo - will sign off now as we are heading out to have bbq ( in the rain) at my work colleagues' apartment...
