Thought I should update the blog as we havent done so in a while. Im also waiting in for a plumber so I have a bit of time. Nothign serious - just a leaky pipe form the dishwasher - so thats out of use till the plumber can fix...(if only i lived with somone handy with his hands - say...an engineer!!)
anyhoo- we have been pretty quiet really - hence no blog - had a few quiet weekends and getting back into swing of work. We went to see the school play on Friday in an ambitious production of Cabaret - the boys school join forces with the local girls school for casting etc. There were highlights but many lowloghts and although the first act dragged and I was thinking it would never end. Luckily after a half hr interval where we had to make small chat, around/avoiding the fact that the play was awful, with steve colleagues, the second act was swift.

What else have we done?

I worked this weekend - both Sat and Sun so was completely confused this morning when it was Monday and I felt "where was the weekend??? " As u can see from the previous blog - had a phone call sat night from Lorna with the good news.

Im sure we have done more - shopping for flat, trying to buy really cheap things as we are on budget and also because - its not worth buying expensive things for our two year stint..

Trying to get used to not having central heating - luckily our one oil heater has wheels so we can wheel it around to whichever room we are in! its not even winter yet! Actually had a beautiful weekend weather wise - or so im told - i was inside the whole time, making tea and coffee and trying to look as if I know what im talking about re: audio visual equipment!

Anyhoo, must go and get dressed as plumber should be here soon.
