The weekend again and I am working again to get some overtime! I keep saying "never again" but then I cant refuse double time! Should be ok as its only 60 people to manage...

I start my new job on 31st - all sorted paperwork wise etc. I am a bit hesitant but it will be a new experience and afterall thats what we are here for!

We are off to comedy show tonight - its a late n live set - so you dont know who you are getting and is in a really nice little comedy club in the centre of auckland - very british feel to it.

Whats been happening here - well my friend katie from Masterton came to visit last weekend, we took in some sights had a few bottles of red and had a great time. it was a fleeting visit so just had to do the main sights - mount eden, viaduct, eastern bays ( where we used to live) and a little trip out of the city to pick up a table and chairs I bought on Trade me, but I think she got a feel for the big the big smoke.

Met up with an the english couple that Mark introduced us to on saturday eve - which was nice...and Mark and francie are coming over for a meal next saturday for us to say "thanks" for being so welcoming when we arrived...

I havent downloaded the piccies from last weekend yet but will do soon and post them.
